GERMAN-BORN AMERICAN PLANE PLANS - RECOVERED (10.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 15. The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested in Washington Spiegelberg, a former American Coast Guardsman, who was born in Germany, on charges of espionage. When arrested Spiegelberg had 18 sets of plans and blueprints of an army bomber in his possession. The plans were apparently stolen from an engineering plant in Detroit, where Spiegelberg was formerly employed.
