Another of the series of successful dances organised by the Makdrakh-Matawhero patriotic sub-zone was held in the Makarnka Hall at the week-end. There was a large attendance. The music was played by Miss Lena Ituru’s orchestra, while extras were contributed by Miss V. Dolahunty. The M.C. was Mr, Jonasen. The section of the committee responsible for the success of the function included Mesdamen W. Jonasen, I. Weastell, L. Ende, W. Dunstan, C. Baigent, J. Parker, Owen, H. Lange, E. Livingston; Messrs.
