EUROPEAN REFUGEES ARRIVAL IN AMERICA (2.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 1. A report from Jersey City says that 800 refugees were held aboard the Swedish steamer Drottningholm as Federal investigators carried out an intensive and grilling search of all passengers. The investigators are reported to be asking if the passengers 'heard any pro-German talk aboard the ship and also questioning them regarding the conditions in European countries and on other matters concerning the conduct of the war.
