N.Z. TRAINEES ABROAD SERVICE IN NAVY (Special Correspondent.) (11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 1. The following have been temporarily commissioned in the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve: —SubLieutenants J. W. Moody, of Gisborne, N. W. Cook, of Wellington, G. V. Duff, of New Plymouth, and G. F. Nicholson. A. F. Naylor, of Wanganui, has been promoted lieutenant. The .'following have been temporarily commissioned in the Fleet Air Arm:— Sub-Lieutenants S. W. Richards, L. F. Hayward, and H. Van Staveren, of Wellington: H. L. Aspinall and J. W. Meek, of Dunedin; T. Fairweather, of Opotiki; J. B. Cookson, of Christchurch; G. Y. Hooper, of Hastings; J. H. Jejlie, of Auckland; and also A. D. Arcus, L. A“ Bfeamsley, L. P. McManus, J. R. Palmer,' R. L George, L. W. E. Maffey, K. Seebeck, D. R. Mclntosh, D. S. Byrne, M. C. Brown, D. B. McLean, B. J. M. B. Scott, N. O. Turnbull and M. C. Farrer. The following are promoted to midshipmen: C. H. Brown, of Canterbury, W. L. J. Ringer, of Bay of Plenty, A. E. Pratt, of Christchurch, J. T.
