Soccer Teams for Saturday
The soccer teams to play on the Childers Road Reserve on Saturday at 2.45 p.m. are as follows:—Gisborne. —W. Bryan, H. Easton, L. Branson, D. Miller, B. Jarvie, D. Elliot, D. Jones, S. Barker, J. Gordon, M. Cullun, E. Bridge, A. Waugh, W. Mull-1-ooney. (Referee, Mr. J. Easton; reserve, Mr. Parkin.) Army.—A. Mclvor, V. Clements, J. Taylor, S. Bugden, J. Watt, R. Black, R. Carpendale, A. McLean, R. Watt, J. Armstrong, B. Wells, R. Hannah, J. English, and B. Lee. Harrier Handicaps The Air Training Corps harriers’ fourmile handicap which will be held at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, will leave the intersection of Grey street and Salisbury road. From there the course will lead along Marine drive past the abattoirs, up Lytton road, and down Childers, Stanley and Awapuni roads with the finish at the intersection of Grey street and Awapuni road.
