SOLDIER KILLED
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, this day. In a collision between a motor truck and a bus at Riinciman, 23 miles south of Auckland, shortly after midnight, a soldier, Foster I. Sties, aged 22, a passenger in the truck, was killed outright and two other young men injured necessitating admission to hospital. Nobody on the bus was injured.
