WAR ADMINISTRATION
FIRST MEETING TO-DAY FARM LABOUR QUESTION (S.R.) WELLINGTON, this day. The first meeting of the new .War Administration was held this morning, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, presiding. The new Administration got right down to • business discussing the problem of man-power for farming activities. Mr. J. N. Massey, who was present at the invitation of Mr. Fraser, presented the facts regarding the position in the Auckland district. The Hon. D. Wilson, who, as associate Minister of National Service has been handling the farm labour problem, was also present, and Mr, J. S. Hunter, Director of National Service, also attended.
