ENEMY SUFFERS HEAVILY LONDON, Dec. 21. The striking superiority of the Royal Air Force over the Axis air forces in Libya is) reflected in the figures of the comparative losses from dawn on December 14 to dawn on December 21, says the British official wireless. While the Royal Air Force losses / numbered 31, the Axis losses were 211. The figures include 143 machines found destroyed or abandoned at various aerodromes, eight shot down by ground forces and 40 announced by the army as found destroyed on the Derna airfield. The Axis losses over Britain and „ Europe for the same period were 11, compared with 14 Royal Air Force aeroplanes. The Admiralty announces that two Axis aircraft were destroyed for no British losses. While comparative figures are not available from the Far East, revised figures for the opening days of the Pacific war and announcements 'this week by British, United States and Dutch official sources give th 6 number of Axis aeroplanes destroyed in the past two weeks as 148.
