ROOM FOR RACEHORSES
Racehorses from other centres with engagements at the summer meetings of the Auckland Racing Club and the Auckland Trotting Club have been taken to Auckland by train, no petrol being available for then; transport in motor horse-floats. Arrangements have also been made for the transport by rail to and from Ellorslie of the large contingent of horses trained at Takanini. Visiting horses will be well represented at the carnival, several coming from as far as Christchurch,
