NEWS OF MISSIONARIES
Information concerning the New Zealand missionaries in China, who have been,placed in the war zone by Japanese aggression. has been received in Auckland. A cablegram relayed from London to Auckland states that in all the occupied centres the situation is normal and the missionaries are receiving courteous treatment. There are at present 40 New Zealand missionaries working in China. Although most are in unoccupied China a small number is stationed in Shanghai.
