FATALITY IN HOTEL

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day.. A former employee of the Public Works Department was killed when he fell down a flight of stairs in an hotel about midday yesterday. The victim was Mr. John Tansey, aged about 45, whose address has not been established. It is presumed that Mr. Tansey, who was found dead on a landing half-way up the stairs, struck his head in falling. Relatives reside in Christchurch.
