NAZI PLANES DOWNED SEVERE LAND FIGHTING (Reed. Nov. 27, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 26. A Soviet,, midright communique states: “Fighting was particularly severe on Wednesday in the Volokalamsk sector. Two enemy aircraft were destroyed near Moscow. “On Thursday 33 German aircraft were destroyed. We lost five. Further information shows that, on Sunday we destroyed 55 enemy aircraft, not 19 as previously reported.”
