CLAIMS BY ITALIANS
CAPTURE OF GENERAL (Reed. Nov. 27, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 26. An Italian communique issued in Rome claims that the Italians captured General Armstrong of the 13th South African Division and several British and American journalists. The Italians also claim to have taken 5,000 prisoners southwards of Sidi Rezegh. The Italians also admit that the British forces have occupied Gialo.
