FAST U.S. LINER

TRANSFER TO BRITAIN (Reed. Nov. 27, 10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 26. The fast Matson liner, Hawaiian Shipper, renamed Empire Fulmar, which has been operating in the Pacific, has been transferred to the British registry under a Tease-or-lend transaction. It is believed that this will be the last American vessel transferred to the British flag, as the revision of the Neutrality Act obviates the necessity of such transfers.
