j DURATION SERVICE j i ■- DEPARTURE ON TUESDAY ARTILLERY TRAINEES The first substantial draft of Maori recruits selected for duration service with Territorial units will leave Gisborne' on the morning of Tuesday, December 2, for Dannevirke. They have been < selected for training with the 10th Heavy Battery, New Zealand Artillery, and are drawn from Gisborne and various parts of the East Coast. \ The men selected are:— Brown, J. Olsen, R. E. Grant, J,, Parker, A. B. Haeuga,' T. Poi; T. Hafeife, E. Pokai, T. Henderson. M. Stainton, B. Henrx, W. Tauhore, K. Kahaki, J. Te Aho, P. Kafwahia, J. Te Kani, Te A. A. Kiniri. ■ K. Te Kani, U. K. Kutia. H. H. Te Kawa, B. Morrell. J. Te Kira, B. Morrell, P. Tuhaka, J. Ngatai, P. Wilson, R. Noanoa, W.
The men of this draft will assemble at the Kaiti meeting-house at 1.30 a.m. on December 2, and will be dispatched at 2 a.m. for Dannevirke.
