100 MEN PERISH
SUNKEN U.S. WARSHIP LOSS OF REUBEN JAMES (Recdfl Nov. 26, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 24. The Navy Department announced that a final check disclosed that 100 officers and men died as a result of the sinking of the American destroyer Reuben James, which was torpedoed pff Iceland. Forty-five of the crew Were rescued.
