(Herald Correspondent.) Mr. Geo. Freeman. Auckland, was a recent visitor to Te Puia.—Mr. T. Linklater, Gisborne, has returned home after spending a few days at the hot springs.—Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Moore, Wellington, are spending a holiday at the Hot Springs Hotel. — Messrs. F. Filmer, f. S. Hobkirk, S. Ward, and W. Wittlestcne, Wellington, were recent, guests at the Hot Springs Hotel. —Mr. arid Mrs. W. Sullivan, Whakatane,. accompanied by Messrs. F. J. Wilkins and J. G. McLean, spent the week-end iri Te Puia. —Mr. E. J. Cassidy, Gisborne, was a recent visitor to Te Puia. Miss Nahcy Parke, of the staff of the Waiapu County Council, has left for a fortnight's annual holiday.—Mr. N. P. Branson, Hicks' Bay, spent the vtf'delt-end in Te Puia.—-Mr. R. C. Addisori; Wellington, visited Te Puia for a few days while on the East Coast. Mr. A. J. Grant has left to train for active service. Before leaving Te Puia he was farCwelled by a number of his friends at ah inforrhal party held at his' residence. —Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Hickg were recent visitors to Gisborne.—Miss O. Winter is paying a short visit to Whakatane. — Miss M. Sharpe spent the. week-end with her sister, Mrs. Akers, in Ruatoria. —Sister Barron, of the staff of the Waiapu Hospital, has left Te PuiA having received ddvice that she has been accepted for overseas active service. . . *—
