VERDICT TO BLOMFIELD BOUT WITH ATKINS (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. A return wrestling matcli between ‘‘Lofty’ Blomfield, of Auckland, and Fred Atkins, of Australia, thrilled a crowd which filled the Town Hall last evening. The bout resulted in a win for Blomfield, who was awarded a penalty fall in the seventh round when he was struck a solid blow on the left ear with what the referee determined was a punch. Prior to this ench man had obtained a fall. The first fall was won by Atkins when he lifted his opponent for a slam and press. Blomfield evened falls with a submission from his octopus clamp.
