Tributes to Former Members.
The passing of two former members of the board, in Messrs. Thomas Holden and J. J. Macdonald, was referred to at to-day’s meeting of the Gisborne Harbour Board, when a motion of sympathy with the families of the deceased was carried. The chairman, Mr. A. J. Nicol, referred to the sterling qualities demonstrated by the late Messrs: Holden and Macdonald.
