CLUB TO PAY DAMAGES
A settlement for £I2OO, including £29 expeneses and costs, has been approved by Mr. Justice Smith in an action taken in Palmerston North by Miss M. M. Caldwell, through her guardian, F. H. Caldwell, against the Palmerston North Golf Club for damages for an injury to an eye, sustained through her being struck by a golf ball, The incident occurred sotne , months ago, the ball being ployed from the tenth tee and travelling on to Park road.
