TEXTILE COLLEGE
PLANS FOR GEELONG TRAINING TECHNOLOGISTS (Reed. Oct. 31, 1.40 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 31. The Minister of Education, Sir John Harris, announced to-day that a textile college to train Australian and New Zealand technologists and technical and managerial staffs would be built soon at Geelong. The college would cost £30,000. Woollen and other industries in Australia had promised £12,500 towards the cost.
