DENIAL IN LONDON
EMULATION OF HESS ANOTHER HIGH OFFICIAL (Reed. Oct. 31, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 30. Official circles in London deny a rumour that another high Nazi official landed in England. The Evening Standard stated it had been rumoured in London that a high German personage emulated Hess and made a landing by parachute in Cambridgeshire. The Evening Standard added, however, that the report could not be confirmed.
