SEVEN KNOWN DEAD
SIXTY INJURED BROOKLYN WHARF FIRE (Reed. Aug. 20, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 19. The death-roll as a result of the fire which followed the explosion on the Brooklyn waterfront yesterday is now seven, with three others missing. Sixty were injured. The total <?a mgo is estimated at £500,000. Rcpcris indicate that a dock employee smoking on the pier ignited inflammable material resulting in the explosion.
