Hospital Rating
. The chairman, Mr. W. G. Sherrat.t, and Mr. M. T. B. Hall were deputed by the Cook County Council to-day to represent the council at a conference of local bodies in the Cook Hospital Board area to consider hospital rating. The conference was being convened by the Gisborne Borough Council. Saturday Afternoon Work The carrying business does not get much rest in the week-ends, according to an appellant who appeared before the Gisborne District Man-Power Committee yesterday. He stated that running repairs to trucks frequently kept him busy throughout the weekend, and if that work was not offering there was generally a carrying job to do. ‘‘When people move from house to house, they'try to do it at the weekend," the appellant said,
