Czech Military Medal
News was received by the last mail that Flight-Lieutenant Maurice Williams, D.F.C., son of Canon and Mrs. W. G. Williams, Napier, has been awarded the Czech Military Medal by Dr. Benes, Czech President, for his services in the training of Czechoslovakian pilots for the Royal Air Force. He has been engaged in this work since he was taken off bombing operations some months ago. In a previous letter. Flight-Lieutenant Williams said he had just completed the training of five Czech bomber crews and was beginning with the second five crews.
