AUSTRALIA’S DANGER
WARNING BY GOVERNOR SYDNEY, Aug. 11. “Speaking with knowledge and a full sense of responsibility, I say that Australia is now in much more danger than Britain.” This statement was made in Hobart on Saturday by the Governor of Tasmania, Sir Ernest Clark. In his warning Sir Ernest left no doubt that the threat to Australia came from Japan.
