TRIBUTE TO BRAVERY (Reed. Aug. 18, 9 a.m.) LONDON. Aug. 16. Yakpv D.jugashvili, M. Salin’s son, whom, the Germans claimed to have captured at Vitebsk, is cited by the Red Star for heroic action. The Red Star states that he displayed exemplary devotion to duty in a 30-day battle, refusing to leave his artillery post until the last shell had been used.
