VIRTUALLY INSANE
MAJOR QUISLING CRISIS NEAR IN NORWAY (Reed. Aug. 18. 10 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 17. Major Quisling, head of the puppet Government in Norway, is now virtually insane. Two other members of his puppet Government have had “nervous breakdowns,” and one of them is in an asylum. This is reported by the Norwegian correspondent of The Times, who says the situation in Norway is approaching a crisis, which may be accompanied by serious disturbances. It is now clear to the Germans that the Quisling regime has failed entirely, the Quislings being boycotted by the Norwegians.
