£21,000 FOR MISSIONS
The receipts of the New Zealand Board of Missions for the year ended June 30, 1941, were the highest in the history of the board, £21,321 having been received from Church of England people. Christchurch diocese headed the list with a contrfoution of £5047. Wellington gave £4804, and Auckland £3Bll. Melanesia, Polynesia, the Church Missionary Society, Society for the Propagation of the Gospel (North China), and Jerusalem are among the missions to benefit by the amount raised in New Zealand.
