AIR OPERATIONS
CASUALTIES IN FORCE (Per Press Association.) • WELLINGTON, this day. Air force casualties announced today are as follows; Pilot Officer Ranald Peter Bell, Royal New Zealand Air Force, killed as a result of air operations. His mother is Mrs. M. F. H. Bell, Havelock North. Pilot-Officer Alexander George Herbert,'Royal New Zealand Air Force, missing on air operations. His father is Mr. F. Herbert, Frankton Junction. Sergeant John Colin Wilson, Royal New Zealand Air Force, previously reported killed in an aircraft accident, now reclassified as killed in action. His father is Mr. J. E. Wilson, Wellington. Leading Aircraftman Albert George Horscroft, Royal New Zealand Air Force, operated on for appendicitis, post-operative condition good. His father is Mr. B. S. Horscroft, Onehunga.
