JUDGMENT FOR £7845
UNPAID SHARE CALLS A claim made by the official assignee as liquidator of Viking Lager, Limited, against Knud Christian Jorgensen, manufacturers’ representative, has been settled by consent before Mr. Justice Callan in Auckland. The claim was in respect of 10,460 shares in Viking Lager, Limited, which had been allotted to defendant and on which he had paid 2s application money, but on which he had failed to pay a call of 15s made' by the official liquidator last November. The defence was withdrawn and judgment given for the full amount of £7845 claimed, with costs. It was in July, 1939, that the company was ordered to be wound up.
