BRITISH TANK DESIGNS
NEW DIRECTOR CHOSEN (Reed. Aug. 14, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 13. The Minister of Supply, Lord Beav.erbrook, has appointed Mr. H. N. Ainsworth director-general of tank design. Mr. Ainsworth arrived in England from America by a bomber a few days ago. He was previously the tank production expert on the British Purchasing Commission.
