VICTIMS OF GERMANS PROMISE OF DESERTS (Reed. Aug. 14, 9 a.m.)' MOSCOW, Aug. 13. The spokesman of the Soviet Information Bureau, M. Lozovsky, after showing journalists in Moscow photographs of mutilated bodies of Russian soldiers and civilians, including children, said: “Hitler and his gang will be treated according to their deserts — according to the law these sadists understand, namely, two eyes for one and a whole mouthful for one tooth,” BOMBING IN BULGARIA (Reed. Aug. 14, noon) SOFIA, Aug. 13. A Bulgarian communique states that Soviet planes dropped incendiary bombs on threshing machines working in several places in the Sumen district, and also dropped high explosives.
