NEW N.Z. ARMY CHIEF
MAJOR-GENERAL’S RANK PROMOTION ANNOUNCED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The promotion of Brigadier F. Puttick, the newly-appointed Chief of the General Staff in New Zealand to the rank of Major-General, was announced on Saturday by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones. The promotion dates from August 1.
