The hall was suitably decorated with red. white and blue streamers, while the "V" for victory campaign was prominent in the decorations. Connelly’s orchestra supplied the music. A number of dancers were present from Ruatoria, Tokomaru Bay, and Waipiro Bay. Over £2O was raised for. the patriotic funds. Another dance is to be held for this purpose at ail early dale, 'the ladies' committee and a band of willing Workers supplied the supper, and the cakes left over were sold to help to swell the funds.
