TE PUIA DANCE
(Herald Correspondent.) The Tc Puia Hall has been the scene of a number of bright dances, but none could have been brighter than the patriotic dance held there last Friday evening. The hall was suitably decorated with red. white and blue streamers, while the "V" for victory campaign was prominent in the decorations. Connelly’s orchestra supplied the music. A number of dancers were present from Ruatoria, Tokomaru Bay, and Waipiro Bay. Over £2O was raised for. the patriotic funds. Another dance is to be held for this purpose at ail early dale, 'the ladies' committee and a band of willing Workers supplied the supper, and the cakes left over were sold to help to swell the funds.
