KAITARATAHI NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) A jolly time was spent at the home of Mrs. J. Atkins by the residents, in connection with their patriotic effort. A dainty afternoon tea was served. The winners of cards were Mrs. J. Atkins and Mrs. L. Lucas. Those present were Mesdames B. Joll, J. Fjgg, N. Wilton. G. Croon, J. Lucas, C. Johnson. E. Knight, L. Croswell, J. Atkins, M. Williams ancl Binnie. Mr. and Mrs. Fee, Auckland, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. Bright, “Strathallan.” —Mr. J. Bennett and family, Tokomaru Bay, have taken up their residence in the district. A meeting will be held in the Kai*taratahi Hall on August 12 by the patriotic committee, in connection with the shop day to be held later ill August. ,
