JERSEY CITY FIRE (Reed. June 3. 9 a.m.) NEW YORK. June 2. The fire which swept the Jersey City Erie railroad terminal,covering 35 acres on the waterfront, and destroying an abattoirs, two grain elevators, three piers, and 15 barges loaded with thousands of tons of wheat and hundreds of head of cattle destined for Britain, caused damage estimated at £6,250.000. Four city blocks are in ruins. The sabotage theory has been discounted. FIRE AT BOEING FACTORY (llecd. June 3, 9 a.m.)' VANCOUVER, June 2. Fire destroyed the administration building and' centre section of the assembly plant at the Boeing aircraft factory, which was scheduled to begin the production of Royal Air Force Hying boats next month.
