(Herald CoiTospondenl.) Mrs. A. Prjtchard left on Monday to attend the Health Department s quarterly conference in Gisborne. She is the guest of Miss North, divisional inspector for public health. Master Maning Pritchard has returned to St. Peter’s Collegiate School, Cambridge. The Matawai members of the Home Guard met at Mr. C. Raymond’s on Sunday morning for another field day. In the morning scout work was undertaken, .and bomb-throwing and range-finding were carried out under Sergeant McTavish in the afternoon.
