Noisy Motor Trucks
An unusual case came before Mr. tyi. H. Freeman, S.M., in the Hamilton Police Court, when Tuck and WatLimited, sawmillers, Frankton, were charged with Operating a noisy truck- A traffic inspector gave evidence that practically all the defendant’s trucks, which were operated night and day, emitted noises like a flight of aeroplanes. The noise, he added, was most annoying. Defendants were fined £2 10s and costs.
