BOMBING OF DUBLIN IRISH PRESS COMMENT (British'.Official Wircbss.) Reed,' 2. p.m. ’• RUGBY, June 2. Commenting-on-the raid on Dublin on Saturday morning, the Dublin newspaper, the. Irish Press, refers to the protest to. Germany sent by the Eire Government.
It says: “In this protest and demand the Government has the support of every Irish citizen. This neutral State has maintained its neutrality with a correctitude which is evident to all belligerents. That it should nevertheless, suffer the horrors of last Saturday morning calls for the most vehement condemnation. The heartrending scenes in the devastated areas must have brought to the minds of all who saw or read of them a feeling •of deepest resentment that so grievous a -huft 'should have been inflicted on our capital and unoffending people.” The Irish-Independent writes: “This is the eighth time within nine months in which bombs have been dropped inside otlr territory.”
