MASS U-BOAT ATTACK
CONVOY OFF GREENLAND (Reed. June 2.2 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 1. It is rumoured in maritime circles that a mass submarine attack made on a convoy 450 miles east of Greenland resulted in the sinking of four British ships, Gregalia, of 5802 tons, Esmond, of 4976 tons, Bengore Head, and Empire Cariboux, of 2607 tons, each carrying American supplies.
