EXPORT CONTROL PLAN (Reed. May 31, 9 a.m.) TOKIO, May 30. The Asahi Snimbun states that the Japanese Foreign Office regards the application of the United States export control system to the Philippines as “part of the United States economic pressure on the Axis Powers.” He added that Japanese countermeasures would depend on the nature of the actual enforcement.
