GERMANY & GREENLAND BRITISH NAVY PRAISED (Reed. Mav 31. 10 a.m.) MOSCOW, May 30. The Red Fleet, the organ of the Soviet Navy says that the German Intelligence Service was hampered by the discovery of the destruction of its meteorological wireless stations in Greenland early in May. The paper says that the German battleship Bismarck’s objective was to disrupt communications between Iceland and Greenland. The paper pays a tribute to the co-ordination of all arms of the British Navy.
