MEDICAL SOCIETIES (Reed. May 31, 1 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 29. The American Medical Association and the District of Columbia Medical Society have been fined £625 and £375 respectively for violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.
The New York District Court on Aoril 4 found that the American Medical Association and the affiliated District of Columbia Medical Society were guilty of violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust .Act through restraining trade in medicine by opposing a group health co-operative.
