ACTING air VICE-MARSHAL \ (Reed. May 30. 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, May 29. Acting Air Vice-Marshal Foster Herbert Martin Maynard, a former resident of Waiuku, New Zealand, has been appointed C.B. in recognition of distinguished service as air officer commanding the Royal Air Force in the Mediterranean.
