AMERICAN PRODUCTION POWER AND HEATING (Reed. May 30, 2.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 29. Advocating daylight saving throughout 'the nation, the Secretary of the Interior, Mr. H. L. Ickes, said that America might have to resort to a restricted use of electricity and instigate gasless Sundays to meet shortages of power owing to the unprecedented defence production.
