Supreme Court Session
The quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court in Gisborne concluded to-day, and Mr. Justice Smith, who presided, will return to Napier tomorrow to complete the hearing of business there. The Gisborne calendar included one case which did not come to hearing, this being an interlocutory action in connection with the Hall estate litigation, in respect of which His Honour heard counsel in chambers. Later a settlement of the interlocutory action was placed before His Honour for approval, and the necessity for a court trial was obviated.
