U.S. PLANE OUTPUT
EXPANSION IMMINENT MILLIONS WANTED (Reed. May 29, 11.40 a.m.) WASHINGTON, May 28. President Roosevelt has asked Congress for £697,500,000 for army planes and £132,250,000 for naval planes, reflecting the imminent tremendous expansion in aircraft production. It is understood that the army has requested several thousand heavy bombers.
