DELIVERY PLEDGE
GOODS FOR BRITAIN AMERICAN SUPPLIES NAVAL ACTIVITY STRENGTHENING FORCES (Reed. May 30, 2.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 29. Authoritative sources report far.fiung naval activity is materially strengthening the American forces in the Atlantic with the object of fulfilling President Roosevelt’s pledge to “deliver the goods” to Britain, says the United Press of America. The Navy Department requests restriction on all reports of ship movements. The Post Office, at the request of the Maritime Commission, has extended the censorship regarding movements of merchant vessels. No information about movements of ships is allowed in mails outside the Western Hemisphere and Hawaii.
