SATURDAY ENGAGEMENTS STAKES ACCEPTANCES (Reed. March 7, 3 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 7. Nightbeam and Condignity, formerly trained by J. W. McCurley and now in the charge of J. T. Cush, are engaged in the Farewell. Handicap and Gibson Carmichael Stakes respectively tomorrow. Acceptances in the Lloyd Stakes are due to scale. Horses still engaged are Mildura, Reading, High Caste, Gold Salute, Zonda. Sunvalley, Lucrative, and Tranquil Star. Gold Salute is an acceptor for the Leonard Stakes and Sunvalley for the Farewell Handicap.
